World Bank Support Reforms in Myanmar

WASHINGTON—The World Bank said it is re-engaging with Myanmar to support reforms and is sending experts to analyze the country's economic infrastructure and banking and finance sector.

It is the latest sign of the international community stepping up its involvement in the country also known as Burma as it takes steps toward democracy after five decades of military rule.
